I'm consumed with one idea: relaxed intensity.

Picture Steph Curry, chewing on his mouthguard, almost aloof in his slouched stroll across the court in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

I know what it's like to be relaxed.

My fairytale spot: In a hammock.
On top of a mountain.
With a scenic view and a lake below.
And quick access to skis and a mountain bike.

I know what it's like to be intense.
Have you ever seen a redhead angry?
Look out!

But I'm more interested in the kind of relaxed intensity that comes from an undistracted, fully engaged, laser focus.

I've had that since 2013.

Before that, I tried to follow in my father's footsteps.
And my uncle's.
And my other uncle's.
And my mom's.

And then I found my own footsteps and a path that has become SightShift: Athletes.

Now, I have one focus: help you remove distractions and relax with with pressure.

I believe you are one shift away from tapping into the secrets of the all-time greats. And I have designed a program to help you do just that. Let's not waste any more time getting there. Click the "help now" button at the top of the page and we can jump right into it.

Care more about where I come from?

I was raised in Columbia, Missouri, to a now 3-time Hall of Fame basketball coach and a 30-year higher education administrator. I relocated to the Hoosier state to play and coach college basketball under a now 6-time Hall of Fame coach. Then I escaped to warmer weather in the desert where I have been working with professional athletes since 2010.

Other random facts:

1. I went head-to-head with Chris Paul at the bowling alley with $100 on the line (remind me to tell you the full story next time we hang out)

2. In an effort to learn something new every summer, I took boxing lessons and my mom still thinks I got hit in the face during training (thank you, Instagram filters)

3. The time I feel most like Steph Curry is when playing corn hole (and when I kicked my girlfriend's butt in ping pong on our first date - I haven't won since)

4. I have co-authored 4 books, including an Amazon best seller (check this one out)

5. My record for spinning a basketball on my finger is 16 minutes (accomplished in high school during class before a test)
